More Important Than Ever
Dear Friends,
What we have experienced over the past two years is extraordinary. Families once independent and surviving are now falling into an abyss they never imagined for themselves or their family.
As unemployment and the cost of basic needs rises, the challenges of families have hit a staggering new level. More families cannot make ends meet. They are making choices between groceries or life-saving medications, a rent payment or car insurance, diapers for their baby or purchasing a bus pass. This past year, we saw more babies left in wet diapers for hours at a time, medicine cabinets void of basic medications for colds and fever, and baby formula diluted with water so it will go further. We are seeing more sick children and significantly more stressed parents.
The goodness of the Baby Diaper Drive is that we may intervene and ensure that babies have clean dry bottoms, adequate formula, baby food, safe car seats and cribs, and funds to address any emergency concerns.

How Your Donation Helps
$380 will cover the cost of 1,000 diapers
- $40 will cover one week of diapers and wipes for one child
- $160 will cover a month of diapers and wipes for one child
- 90 donated diapers and a box of 160 wipes will cover one week for one child
- 360 donated diapers and four boxes of wipes will cover one month for one child
- $175 will cover the cost of 500 diapers
- $1,700 covers the cost of diapers and wipes for one year for one child
- $1,000 to the Emergency Baby Fund will cover special needs such as glasses, speech therapy, hearing aids, therapeutic equipment, prescriptions and special dietary needs for babies and children at Homeward Bound.
