One Diaper, One Dollar, One Person At A Time

Families earning low wages struggle to cover the essentials of diapers, wipes, and baby formula. In many cases, parents are unable to go to work because they do not have the required number of diapers to take with them to day care. The Annual Baby Diaper Drive fills these gaps by collecting months of urgently needed supplies.

Founded 13 years ago, the Annual Baby Diaper Drive helps families served by Homeward Bound by providing these necessary essentials.

Our mission and goals are as follows:

To create a grassroots opportunity that lets kids, families, and organizations share in the spirit of giving, philanthropy, and fundraising - while encouraging and teaching others to do the same. We believe the Elontec School Diaper Challenge teaches leadership and entrepreneurial skills to children and will help them become good citizens and leaders in our community.

To provide immediate emergency supplies of diapers, wipes, and formula for Homeward Bound families.

To provide a “Cash Emergency Baby Fund” for Homeward Bound case managers to distribute in unexpected circumstances. There are no budgeted funds available for items such as childcare, hearing aids, glasses, therapy, car seats, and more.

Please consider joining our efforts this year. There are many ways to help and get involved! We’d love to hear from you to discuss your ideas or answer any of your questions.

Warmly,

“The Diaper Ladies”

The Diaper Drive

For 13 years, the Annual Baby Diaper Drive has helped families served by Homeward Bound, which assists homeless and domestic violence families with children throughout Maricopa County.

Most of the families served can’t cover the essentials of diapers, wipes, baby formula, and more. Food stamps don’t cover most baby necessities. The Baby Diaper Drive fills the gap by collecting months of emergency supplies and cash donations.
