Easy Ways to Participate this Season:

Host a baby diaper drive or event within your company, at your school, with your church or community group. Ideas include placing a pac-n-play in a central location for donations to be placed. Many companies, schools, youth groups and families use this drive as a way to teach others about giving. Ask people you know to participate and to spread the word about the great work Homeward Bound does in our community and why YOU are involved. Ask your neighbors, church, customers, vendors, friends and family to help you this holiday season! The Homeward Bound families are working hard to change their lives and move towards self sufficiency. They appreciate your helpful hand up as they create new lives.

A note from Homeward Bound’s Executive Director

Dr. Pamela Martin, Executive Director at Homeward Bound explains the critical need of the Diaper Drive:

"We assume that every baby has a dry bottom and a full belly, but the reality is the working poor have to make choices. They may not change diapers as often and they may dilute baby formula. They may not be able to afford baby products that we know keep a baby cleaner or healthier. They are trying to stretch the limited resources that they have...the Annual Baby Diaper Drive helps so we can intervene and make sure those things don't happen."

Tax Credit Note: Homeward Bound is certified to accept contributions that qualify for Arizona's "Helping the Working Poor" Tax Credit. You may be able to redirect $200.00 (individual) or $400.00 (married couple) as part of your Arizona tax liability.
