Register For The School Diaper Drive Challenge
In 2012, students from across the Valley participated in the Elontec School Diaper Drive Challenge for the second year. It was a receord year of diaper collections over 172,000 diapers! The 2012 school winner was Candeo Schools of Peoria, collecting almost 27,000 diapers! The school received a Mimio Teach Board, and the students enjoyed an ice cream social hosted by Nibbler's Catering, one of the Diaper Drive sponsors. "Involving the schools was a great way not only to foster kids helping kids, but it was a wonderful school and community-building event, as well as an opportunity to teach philanthropy and leadership in a hands-on way," said Ginger Clayton, president of Elontec and Baby Diaper Drive Chair.
