Arizona's Tax Credit To Help The Working Poor
Did You Know? Your Homeward Bound contributions can qualify for Arizona's "Helping the Working Poor" Tax Credit. You may be able to redirect $200.00 (individual) or $400.00 (married couple) as part of your Arizona tax liability. This credit can be used in ADDITION to any Arizona School Tax Credit.
Why We Do This
- To provide emergency diapers, wipes and formula for Homeward Bound babies
- To provide a "Cash Emergency Fund" for Homeward Bound case managers to distribute in unexpected circumstances. There are no budgeted funds available for items such as childcare, hearing aids, eye glasses, therapy, car seats, medicine and more.
- To create a grass roots opportunity that allows kids, families, and organizations share in the spirit of giving, philanthropy and fundraising, while encouraging and teaching others to do the same.
